Join DoN and Nature Nova Scotia to learn about this remarkable endangered species, the Mainland Moose! We will follow up with a free art activity where students can make cards for loved ones and politicians.

Join Nature Nova Scotia and Diversity of Nature for this art-meets-science-meets-politics activity! Let's learn about Endangered Mainland Moose in Nova Scotia and how we can protect this remarkable species. Nature Nova Scotia will be providing a guest lecture and letters we can send to our politicians. Each child will be provided with a linocut block, inspirational Moose materials for their artwork, fancy printing paper, and inks. They will be able to make multiple prints including holiday cards to give to their loved ones. Just in time for the winter holidays!
