About the event
We welcome underreprensted youth (Black, Indigenous, people of colour, 2SLGBTQIA+, women/femmes/nonbinary folks, etc.) & their families to join expert naturalist and Dalhousie Instructor Hunter Stevens on a quest to find Salamanders, one of Nova Scotia's most cryptic groups of animals! We will be turning over rocks and leaves in search of them. Students will learn to identify plants and animals on this walk, as well as nature-safe techniques to observe the biodiversity around us! All equipment will be provided.
