Diversity of Nature Field Camp
Thank you for registering! We are fully booked!
We have space reserved for up to four Generation 1 Leadership Initiative members to join our summer Field Camp!
Our field camp is aimed at BIPOC high school students who want to have hands-on ecological experiences. Students will learn about plant diversity, fish diversity, Indigenous ecology, pigments, microscopic organisms, climate justice, and more!
All of our field camp leaders are BIPOC students learning cutting-edge science.
The camp is a 3-day day camp. We have two identical sessions on August 20-22 and August 27-29. We will send out the detailed itinerary to registrants.
All lunches and snacks are covered. On day 3, we will celebrate with a dinner!
We also offer two $2000 scholarships for graduating students to kick-start them for post-secondary.
